Founded by Rashi Garg, Thirak is dedicated to spread the ancient art of kathak in the Netherlands and help achieve perfection through providing the understanding of grace , taal, rhythm, right posture and expressions. Thirak school of Kathak aims to promote rich heritage of  kathak to help students connect with the Indian values with the stories enacted through dance.

Thirak trains students for traditional kathak and also helps them for the preparation of stage performances. Thirak wishes to develop this art form amongst all the age groups in the Netherlands, so that everyone learns the history, and beauty of kathak. Thirak provides kathak classes in Netherlands through online and offline channels.
